The trend continues – using MS Teams for online meetings and direct calls has skyrocketed for us at UofT during the covid pandemic.
Like almost all North American schools (and many around the world), we’ve had to switch the way we teach and learn due to the Covid-19 pandemic. That means significant increases in the use of technology, and in demand for support around those technologies. In a series of posts, we will be sharing some visualizations of those changes.
The graph above shows the significant increase in the use of Teams for meetings and direct calling (particularly during the business week) since we moved to remote teaching and working mid-March. The blue line represents Meetings, and peaked at 1,777 Meetings on March 26. Calls peaked at 2,147 on March 25.
